Our company is constantly striving to ensure that its operations have the least possible impact on the environment. To this end, it has developed an Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 14001:2004 standard, which addresses all environmental issues.
In 2022, our company was awarded the Bronze Prize at the Environmental Awards for the ZERO WATER PROJECT, saving 420,000 liters of water.
Seeking to further improve its performance on environmental issues, the company establishes and reviews environmental objectives and targets at regular intervals, taking into account:
- environmental legislation
- significant environmental aspects,
- technological options,
- the company’s overall objectives,
- the views of interested parties, e.g., employees, customers, residents, authorities, etc., and
- the company’s financial capacity.
In addition, staff have been informed about the requirements of the environmental management system, the Environmental Policy, the objectives and targets, the environmental impacts of the company’s activities, as well as potential emergencies and the required response to them. At the same time, the company ensures that its external partners are also made aware of these issues, so as to minimize environmental impacts.
It also participates in an approved collective alternative management system for its packaging (EEA). All of the above, combined with the ongoing and active efforts of all participants, result in the continuous improvement of the integrated Environmental Management System.
